This is one of the 8 mutual funds from the Taurus Mutual Fund house. As mentioned, it is a tax saver ELSS (Equity Linked Saving Scheme) launched on 31 March 1996.

Its direct Plan-Growth scheme’s Assets under management as of 28 February 2022 is Rs 62 Crore. The recent declared NAV of the fund on 23 March 2022 is Rs 117.76. The expense ratio of the fund is 1.92%, which is higher than its category average.

It is an open-ended small fund of its category. Currently, the fund is managed by Mr. Ankit Tikmany. It is a highly risky fund to invest. Its performance is good but slightly weak among its peers’ funds. However, rating agency CRISIL has rated this fund one star.

The fund is invested in Indian equities to the tune of 98.34 percent, with 48.95 percent in large-cap stocks, 20.91 percent in mid-cap stocks, and 17.92 percent in small-cap stocks. The financial, construction, energy, automobile, and services sectors account for the majority of the fund’s holdings. In comparison to other funds in the category, it has less exposure to the Financial and Construction industries. ICICI Bank Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., Housing Development Finance Corpn. Ltd., Infosys Ltd., and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. are the fund’s top five holdings.
