Powered by positive momentum for shares of JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Tuesday morning. The Dow DJIA, +0.38% is trading 161 points, or 0.5%, higher, as shares of JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.50% and Goldman Sachs GS, +2.47% are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. JPMorgan Chase’s shares have climbed $2.35 (2.0%) while those of Goldman Sachs have risen $5.51, or 1.8%, combining for an approximately 52-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Boeing BA, +1.39%, Chevron CVX, +1.87%, and 3M MMM, +1.46%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
