The Federal Reserve raised interest rates yesterday by half a percent to try and slow inflation followed by a big gain of more than 900 points for the Dow Jones Industrial Average. A day later, many on Wall Street are reconsidering the Fed’s actions wondering if it’ll be able to slow inflation without putting the economy in a recession. Today, markets dropped, wiping out yesterday’s gains.
