Dow's nearly 350-point fall led by losses for Intel, Goldman Sachs stocks

Shares of Intel and Goldman Sachs are trading lower Wednesday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average selloff. The Dow DJIA, -0.98% was most recently trading 342 points, or 1.0%, lower, as shares of Intel INTC, -5.65% and Goldman Sachs GS, -2.41% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Intel’s shares have dropped $2.36 (5.4%) while those of Goldman Sachs have dropped $7.64, or 2.4%, combining for an approximately 66-point drag on the Dow. JPMorgan Chase JPM, -2.06%, American Express AXP, -1.75%, and Travelers TRV, -1.64% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
