Boeing, Salesforce Inc. share losses lead Dow's 738-point drop

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is slumping Monday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Salesforce Inc. delivering the stiffest headwinds for the index. The Dow DJIA, -2.50% was most recently trading 738 points lower (-2.3%), as shares of Boeing BA, -9.62% and Salesforce Inc. CRM, -6.46% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Boeing’s shares have fallen $11.94, or 9.4%, while those of Salesforce Inc. have fallen $11.19, or 6.3%, combining for an approximately 152-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include American Express AXP, -4.83%, Dow Inc. DOW, -4.72%, and Nike NKE, -3.92%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.59-point swing.
