New York Has a New Pay Transparency Law. Here’s How Much You Can Make on Wall Street.

Wall Street salaries will no longer be shrouded in mystery, starting Tuesday, Nov. 1. That is thanks to a New York salary transparency law that requires employers to share salary ranges for roles based in New York—either on location or remotely.

JPMorgan Chase (ticker: JPM) is already listing pay ranges on its website. One posting, for Chase corporate strategy, vice president, has a base pay/salary range of $175,750 to $185,000. A second, for FX options trading analyst, has a range of $100,000 to $125,000.
