Salesforce, Walt Disney share losses contribute to Dow's 40-point fall

Behind declines for shares of Salesforce and Walt Disney, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Wednesday afternoon. The Dow DJIA, +0.91% was most recently trading 40 points lower (-0.1%), as shares of Salesforce CRM, -2.37% and Walt Disney DIS, -0.71% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Salesforce’s shares are down $6.83, or 4.3%, while those of Walt Disney are down $2.58, or 2.4%, combining for an approximately 62-point drag on the Dow. Nike NKE, +0.10%, Visa V, -0.21%, and Apple AAPL, +0.60% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.59-point swing.
