Development of the Saudi mining sector will pay off for all parties, as it will strengthen the Kingdom’s leading position globally, the state-run SPA, reported citing Khalid Al Mudaifer, Vice-Minister for Mining Affairs, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

The sector development will offer viable opportunities for investors, contribute to local development, and create quality jobs for nationals, Al-Mudaifer added in a speech during the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC).

Development of the Kingdom’s mining industry and the related services, as well as opening them to national and foreign investments is a key objective of Saudi Vision 2030, he added.
